Canwell 644SX

Canwell 644SX Series is a liquid non-regenerable scavenger for H2S and light mercaptans. This patented blend is designed to offer a high capacity H2S scavenger, which maintains its solution state in high temperature applications. The Canwell 644SX was specifically designed for high temperature gas applications. The proprietary blend includes additives, which prevent heat degradation and the precipitation of solids in high heat applications. The Canwell 644SX also includes Canwell’s patented anti-crystallization additive.

Canwell have done a significant amount of product testing related to Heavy Oil annulus gas H2S stripping at the Alberta Sulphur Research laboratories in Calgary, and have developed proprietary blends to optimize performance of the scavengers in non-standard process conditions. This product is particularly well suited to Heavy Oil applications where gas temperatures prior to cooling can exceed 150°C.
