Canwell 400SX

The Canwell 400SX Series is a liquid H2S scavenger specifically blended and distributed out of our blend plant in Nisku, Alberta. Designed as a low odour, non-regenerable scavenger for active treatment of H2S, and light mercaptans, the 400SX is a lower activity blend that provides a solution for clients that are looking for a no free formaldehyde blend. This low odour product is often selected in applications where operator exposure is significant or at facilities in close proximity to urban development. The 400SX has been developed to achieve complete removal of H2S in the presence of CO2 under a variety of operating conditions.

The 400SX Series product is a proprietary blend of aldehyde / alkanolamine condensates. Canwell’s patented anti-crystallization additive is included in 400SX product allowing for the product to be used in down-hole and in-line injection applications. The 400SX product is designed to reduce adverse production conditions and will not precipitate solids when used as directed. The 400SX is popular in either a Bubble Batch Tower or Continuous Flooded Tower systems.

In both laboratory and field studies the 400SX has outperformed similar triazine scavengers blended by our competitors. Canwell would welcome the opportunity to discuss specific examples where the 400SX has been selected as a unique solution for H2S removal applications.
